I’ll try to keep my language civil, so as not to offend tender sensibilities. But: 1. This is so effing awesome that this is finally published. 2. The cover is great. 3. (slightly negative) Why was I not informed by the usual carrier pigeon, good old reliable Shelley, that this was published? I have to find out on a GD (sorry!) blog??!!. 4. I just pre-ordered a copy for my Kindle, the only real way to read books these days. [spoiler: pomposity preceding]. And 5: When are copies, both the kind where trees are slaughtered and the kind where bits and bytes happily produce letters on a screen — when are copies going to be available?
(PS: Congratulations on this, man. If there’s an event or a launch, let me know, and I’ll be there — not with bells on though, as that can distract from the reading.)
Thanks, Wayne. The book is coming out 4/20. A perfect date for my BC readers…cough…cough. I hope many, many trees are slaughtered so we can stamp my words on their parched, flattened corpses. I’d be thrilled if I could even approach the numbers you’ve reached with the Giraldo project.
